Municipio di Cortina

Impeccable work site management

This town hall built in the 19th century in the picturesque ski resort town of Cortina d’Ampezzo is situated on the quaint pedestrian main avenue of Cortina. Externally it is of neoclassical appearance, typical of the public buildings built during this period, with rusticated sections, pilaster strips, capitals, tympanum and cornices. The Cortina town council commissioned a general maintenance, restoration and functional updating of all the building’s systems. Work began in September 2006 under the design direction of Architect Gianluca Ghedini and included re-roofing, the conservative restoration of the façades and the updating of heating and electrical systems.
