De-construct for Urban Renewal

We have a great architectural heritage of enormous historical and cultural importance often in ruin and decay, yet we need to find new spaces to meet modern housing and working requirements.
The challenge is to meet today’s needs without resorting to new construction: "de-construct" the buildings from by-gone centuries, and transform them into useful, efficient spaces for living and working. An example is the former Modigliana Seminary, situated in the Forlì province, which has been transformed into a hotel for the elderly.
