A uniquely styled neo-gothic mansion rightly restored

Located in Venice, the mansion designed and commissioned by the owner and painter Mario de Mario in 1910, overlooks the Zitelle foundation from the Giudecca Island. In 2007, the companies, Polymnia Venezia S.r.l. and Finbo S.a.s.,
commissioned a conservative restoration of the mansion’s irreverent yet magnificent neo-gothic façade, playfully inspired by architectural and decorative elements of Palazzo Ducale, to designer Nicola Randolfi and Dottor Group. The intervention of the façade was the first step in the restoration of the entire building, and included the restoration operations of the stonework, the visible side of the facing and the wooden window and door frames on the main façade.
